Kurt and Chela are an Excellent "Team"! The fact that they work together as husband and wife makes them much more versatile and effective than the other services we observed. It was more like being out with friends than on an official tour! You can place your complete trust in them for whatever your needs are while in Mexico, they will be there for you personally, not just for trans/tours. Why pay for "1" guide when you can get "2 for 1" with Kurt and Chela!? It was an absolute delight spending time with them!!! We can now say that we "Have friends in Mexico"!!! See you next time!

Kurt and Chela were wonderful. they met us at the airport and delivered exactly what they had promised and more besides. they were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and wonderful hosts throughout. We are a family of 5 with young children and they were perfect. We recommend them.

Kurt and Chela were wonderful to us during our stay in San Miguel Allende. From the moment they picked us up at the airport all the way through our stay, they were dependable, timely, interesting, and took special care to make sure all of our needs were met. When we go back, we will definitely call them again.

One evening, I became quite ill and they came immediately and got a doctor to come to the casa where I was staying. The doctor treated me, in a few days I regained my health, and was able to catch my flight home.

They have been extremely kind and helpful every time I visit San Miguel.

They escort me to and from the Leon airport, always on time, always friendly, and always helpful even when schedules go awry. This comforts me and gives me a strong feeling of security.

Kurt and Chela have a lot of knowledge about the history of this beautiful area of Mexico. This year we went to Pozos, a small village being restored to its past splendor. It was like stepping back in time. We visited interesting shops, galleries, and beautiful lodgings with breathtaking views of the hills. I enjoyed one of the best meals of my life at a lovely restaurant there.

And in case you haven't guessed by now, Kurt and Chela have thoroughly charmed me.

Kurt and Chela provide a tour of Posos complete with the experience of descending an actual mine (if one desires), a visit to a shop with pre-hispanic musical instruments and stops at several art galleries--all served up in a charming manner and enriched by their considerable knowledge of this "becoming" city. Don't miss this unique experience!

The trip to Pozos was out-of-this-world wonderful. The places you had selected to take us were superb and not places we would have been able to find on our own. To go from the fantasmas to the beautiful new hotel with the glorious lunch was superb. I will always remember the exquisite and unusual galleries, where I bought the most beautiful jewelry for excellent prices.
To go from the sweathouse, now a place with ancient musical instruments and cacti(!), to the new gallery was symbolic of what Pozos is now all about, an old ghost town that is at the beginning of renewal. What a great time to visit.

Kurt and Chela of Forks TT are incredibly dedicated and thoughtful. Their service is simply the best- you get the most for your money and their prices are very competitive. The Forks Web site clearly shows the cutting-edge attention to detail and their great service. Kurt and Chela took us to Mineral de Pozos for the day and showed us many interesting places, including a local place where shamans and others practice traditional meditation and spiritual practices. Kurt even bought along a very powerful high-intensity lamp to show us some of the mine shafts and tunnels. We will definitely use Forks TT anytime we are in the area!

As soon as we get the garage finished and the car fixed I will be building my shrine to Kurt’s determination, -naming it, sueñe más. (I’m considering building a cistern, (we don’t really need one, -but they are so neat and somehow comforting). Plus, if Kurt has one, I want one!
