Want to buy some gorgeous flower pots? Dolores Hidalgo is known primarily for its ceramic industry. Want an ice-cream? Taste the authentic locally-made ice cream, such as shrimp and tequila, sold by vendors from small barrows.

Once known throughtout colonial Mexico for its opulence and its thriving mining industry, Mineral de Pozos has been a virtual ghost town for almost a century. It is experiencing a resurgence of interest on the part of visitors looking for an unique adventure.

Bernal Monolith
Bernal Queretaro
Pena de Bernal is the second-largest monolith in the world. Many people make a pilgrimage to the highest point hikeable, visiting a little chapel about halfway up. On the Spring equinox, people gather all dressed in white to form a human belt around the monolith.

Pyramids and a ceremonial center known as "Cerrito". They represent facilities for the residence of the priests and pre-Hispanic governors.

The Sanctuary of Atotonilco (which means Place of the Hot Waters is only 15 minutes away form colonial San Miguel de Allende. It is also known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas. Gorgeous landscapes, healthy hot springs, and fun water parks can be found in Atotonilco.
